Achenkirch

The idyllic town of Achenkirch lies at an altitude of 916 m and is made up of many scattered districts. Located at the northern opening to Lake Achen, the gorgeous view offers a look at the mountains and one of Tyrol's largest lakes. The amazing ski area, one of Europe's largest enclosed conservation areas, the "Karwendal", is waiting to be discovered. Besides snow bikes and tobogganing, the possibility to try snow golf is also available.

Achensee

Tyrol's first "vital sports region" is comprised of the resorts Maurach, Pertisau and Achenkirch, making up a picturesque area embedded in enchanting mountains around Achensee. Approx. 90 km of cleared hiking trails invite guests to tour through a fascinating winter wonderland.
