Ski area Feuerkogel

With the lift pass "Feuerkogel" you have access to the family ski area (443 - 1,625 m) with approx. 10 km of piste and 9 lifts. On a high plateau, offering a 360° panorama view of the Dachstein region and Lake District, lies the small ski circus with some nice descents for beginners and children, but also the one or the other piste for more experienced skiers. A large practice slope and the Kinderland (children's area) offers lots of space for practising the first swings on skis. Those, looking for some more adrenaline, can try the freeride piste, which runs over 6 km back down the valley.

On the high plateau, at 1,680 m altitude, there is a small mountain village, with some cosy huts and pause station available. A special highlight here is night-skiing under floodlights, with music and igloo bar - depending on the weather conditions and during the Christmas and school holidays. Additionally, the high plateau is the starting point for skit tours of all skill levels - beginning with a half-hour descent, right up to hour-long tours.

Snowpark: Snowparks Dachstein-West Altmünster am Traunsee

The ski area Feuerkogel unfortunately does not have a snowpark. The Dachstein West area however has several ones - for young and old, beginners and professionals alike. The little ones will find the best spot in Gosau in the Kids' Cross Ötscherpark with its snowcross slope.

The snowpark Dachstein west offers a jib line with, amongst others, boxes, rail and wall ride, a beginners' and an intermediate area. Both have different kickers, boxes and corners. The Rookiepark Russbach is the best place for beginners to take their first steps on fun kickers and boxes, and the youngsters freestyle park in Annaberg has jumps, rails and hills.
