Annaberg im Lammertal
The charming village of Annaberg in the Lammertal valley lies at 778 metres above sea level in the heart of the Dachstein West region. Surrounded by impressive mountain panoramas, Annaberg offers a wide range of leisure activities in winter: in addition to perfectly groomed slopes for all levels, guests can enjoy activities such as cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing, snowshoeing and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides. In Annaberg, there is plenty to discover for families of all ages!The region is also an ideal starting point for excursions in the surrounding area: the historic town of Bad Ischl, known as the "imperial city", or Salzburg, about 60 km away, with its numerous sights, are within easy reach.
Dachstein West
The Dachstein West region is located in the border region of Upper Austria and the Salzburger Land and is a very popular holiday area for many skiing fans. A gorgeous panorama and diverse, comprehensive winter sports and après ski options attract the region's visitors every year anew. Not only do serious alpine sports stand at the fore; rather, a winter atmosphere for normal skiers and families is also a priority. In addition to wide pistes, cracks will find challenging deep snow runs, e.g. on Zwieselalm.
