In total, cross-country skiers can find around 140 km of laid tracks in the Alta Pusteria. Once you have been on the tracks in the Alta Pusteria – particularly in the Tyrolean Gailtal between Kartitsch and Untertilliach – you will never want to go cross-country skiing anywhere else. A high level of snow security is ensured by a snow machine.
The new cross-country and biathlon centre in Obertilliach is a well-loved training centre, but not just for record-holders. Under instruction, guests have the chance to prove themselves in skiing and target shooting.
A 2.5 km classic track goes directly from Anras to the Kristeinertal through levelled terrain. This stretch is the sunniest in the whole of East Tyrol.
