Ski holidays Bad Kleinkirchheim - ski sports and spa!

Bad Kleinkirchheim

In midst of a valley of the Gurk Valley Alps, between the Upper Gurk Valley and the Millstätter Lake, at approx. 1,100 m altitude, lies the tiny resorts Bad Kleinkirchheim and St. Oswald. Bad Kleinkirchheim is not only a climatic spa resort with healing baths, but also belongs to the most popular winter sports resorts in Austria. Since 1978 FIS World Cup Ski Championships have been held here regularly. Enjoy a relaxing winter holiday in midst of wonderful, natural surroundings and indulge in the culinary specialities of the region. Or just explore the surrounding winter landscape which offers diverse, entertaining and enjoyable descents. Warm sunshine, snow-covered mountains and vast blue skies let a skier's heart beat faster! The modern thermal baths, which have brought the resort an accreditation as Alpine spa resort, offer the perfect contrast for relaxing after a long day on the piste. With your lift pass you have the choice of spending a day on the piste or in the thermal spa Römerbad - the lift pass is valid per day either for the lifts or the spa.

Nock Mountains

The national park Nock Mountains lies in Carinthia, in the south of Austria. Over an area of 184 km² you will find a wonderful mixture of the oldest mountain formation in Europe, as well as breathtaking nature and a wonderful fauna. Tradition still plays an important role in the region, however also modern influence is well considered. Winter sports fans will not only find a promising selection of spa offers but also an extensive sports region at altitudes between 1,078 m and 2,055 m. Besides a dense network of lift systems, cross-country tracks and piste, après ski is also an activity to enjoy whilst staying here. Cross-country skiers will also be well entertained as there are numerous lovely trails with wonderful panoramic mountain views to enjoy.
