Only a few steps away you will find the lifts, cross-country ski tracks, an ice rink, toboggan run and winter hiking paths. No need for a car here. A ski school and guest kindergarten, sports and grocery shops, apres ski bars and restaurants are all nearby and provide everything you need for a perfect winter holiday. Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena

Gorgeous mountains, traditional villages and a snow-white, enchanting sea of peaks make up the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Framed by the Mieminger and Wetterstein mountain chains is the Ehrenwalder basin, where the seven Zugspitz Arena resorts are to be found. Whether skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating or hiking, pretty much everything is possible in and around the Zugspitz Arena resorts. In addition to sporting activities, the resorts entice visitors on a shopping stroll or in for a snack in a cosy inn. There is snow security through until spring on the Zugspitzplatt in the Zugspitz glacier area. In addition to the Zugspitz, a further 6 ski areas are available. The area also offers many easy to intermediate pistes, making it an ideal family holiday destination.
