Bruck am Großglockner
On the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park, in the southern part of Salzburg Land, Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße is situated between Lake Zell and the Grossglockner massif. Situated at an altitude of 756 m, the ideal winter sports resort is characterised by its proximity to the Zell am See-Kaprun ski area with its two busy ski centres. Bruck has also become known for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which has its starting point here at kilometre "0".
