Ski area Mölltal Glacier
The cosy village Flattach is located directly at the foot of Mölltal Glacier. Due to its many easy slopes, the glacier ski area with its 17.4 km of piste and 9 lifts is one of the most popular ski areas in Carinthia, especially amongst families. But even if you are a more experienced skier you will find a sportive challenge on the 5 km of difficult pistes at Mölltal Glacier. Especially hard-boiled skiers take on 7 km FIS-slope, which is also Carinthia's highest.
The approx. 300 m long snow park with jumps, rails, half pipe (35 m) and boarder cross lets every boarders' heart beat faster. In good snow conditions, Mölltal Glacier also offers excellent deep powder snow and free ride conditions for all adventure seekers!
The ski area at Ankogel (1,267 - 2,637 m) is not far away either. Especially the broad and empty slopes at the peeks with a beautiful view all the way to Großglockner and Dolomite Mointains as well as the 7 km long valley run to Mallnitz with a 1,349 m difference of altitude are addictive, making the ski area all the more popular. The ski area has a total of 13 km of piste and 6 lifts.
