In the South of the Salzburger Land, the picturesque Großarltal is located at the foothills of the Radstädter Tauern. Its landscape is coined by several large alps with a total of 40 alpine huts, which is why it is also called "Tal der Almen" (alp valley). The Southern valley head behind the parish Hüttschlag makes up the Keeskogel, the highest mountain in this valley with 2,884 m altitude. In the middle of this 30 km long high valley lies the "Europe Village" Großarltal with its access to the interconnected ski area Großarltal-Dorfgastein. The lifts provide access to more than 70 km of piste on both sides of the Fulseck (2,033 m), from where you have fantastic panorama views of the Großglockner and Dachstein. Fact is that the Großarltal offers a winter sports experience in front of the mountain scenery of the National Park Hohe Tauern, which is a treat for the eyes, body and soul.Travel Großarl
