Demanding high altitude trails, relaxed panoramic routes through the valley or skating tracks - in the Großglockner region, cross-country skiers will find a variety of trails. Surrounding Austria's highest mountain you can find approx. 22 km of trails in the the ski region Kals-Matrei and 12 km in Heiligenblut and Döllach, which are very snow-sure thanks to the altitude of up to 1,300 m.
