Hinterglemm and the surrounding area offer a small but fine cross-country skiing area. There is an over 2 km long high-altitude trail from 1,100 to 1,400 m altitude (ascent with the Reiterkogelbahn) and the almost 10 km long valley end trail near Hinterglemm, which leads to the Lindlingalm.
Winter sports enthusiasts for whom this is not enough will find another 150 km of cross-country trails in Saalfelden Leogang. The cross-country skiing areas around Saalfelden Leogang connect to the extensive cross-country skiing network of the Saalach Valley, which offers about 80 perfectly groomed kilometres. And Fieberbunn adds another 22 or so kilometres of cross-country trails to the offer.
