Ski area Patscherkofel

Innsbruck's Olympic mountain "Patscherkofel" has not only been the basis of successful careers of some now famous winter sports enthusiasts, but it offers perfect conditions for beginners through to pros. 9 lifts take you to an altitude of up to 2,026 m, where 19 km of easy and intermediate pistes lead you down to 900 m altitude. As of the 2017/2018 winter season, you will also have access to a new 10 pers. monocable as well as to a new lighted toboggan run.

The ski area especially suitable for families: the "Sunny Kids Park" with its three different practice areas gives rooms for the little ones to take the first swings while parents have the opportunity to go down the more challenging slopes such as the Olympic run. The sunny area with view over Innsbruck, the Stubai and the Inn Valley leaves nothing to be desired.

All adrenaline junkies will love the "Snowpark Innsbruck" at the Patscher sun plateau and several sun terraces with loungers offer a good setting to recharge the batteries in between.

Night skiing Igls

Pistes in Igls do not always close as soon as it gets dark. As night skiing gets more and more popular, more and more mountain railways, just like in Igls, give the opportunity to ski in the evening. Like in many other ski areas in Austria, several sections on the pistes are illuminated. At Patscherkofel, night owls can look forward to an approx. 1 km section on the Heiligwasser pistes that is illuminated from 17:00 - 21:00 several times per week. The Olex restaurant is also open during these times. In case you never tried out night skiing before, make sure to visit this ski area: It is a great experience and will easily make you want more.

Après ski Igls

To round a pleasurable day on skis off, a variety of little huts await in Igls. Here you can exchange the day's experiences over food and a cold drink.

If you are looking for some more action or an alternative to alpine sports, then the area around the Stubai and Inn Valley offer various hiking trails which can be explored with or without snow shoes. Toboggan fans will find the diverse toboggan runs in the area exciting and adrenaline junkies will enjoy the Olympic bobsleigh and toboggan run an absolute highlight. If you don't have experience yet, a professional will go down with you and depending on weather conditions, you can even try out a circular sled, but that's not for the faint-hearted!

Should you prefer to dance the night away, the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck calls with a variety of bars, pubs and discos. You a guaranteed to have a fun time here!

Snowpark: Snowpark Innsbruck Igls

You would call yourself an adrenaline junkie or love to take risks? Then the "Snowpark Innsbruck" is made for you! Because unlike in most other Austrian areas, it's not an separated area next to the piste but the piste itself where you can shred here. At an altitude of 2,000 m and located directly at the Panorama chair lift, the freestyle paradise begins. It is shaped with every snowfall and change continuously so that you are guaranteed to have fun!

The park is set up as one long run made up of different obstacles rather than having different smaller areas.

Should you wish to pause and catch your breath or simply view the whole scene from the outside, the "XDouble Chill Hut" at the upper end of the park is perfect for you. When an event takes places, they even have a BBQ and play some up-to-date music. Don't miss out on that!
