The "Skischaukel Kappl & Seel" ski area offers a total of 83 km of varied pistes, which are accessed by a total of 21 lifts. From the mountain stations, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the panorama of the Samnaun, Silvretta and Verwall groups before setting off. The longest descent is located at the Furglerblick mountain station and is an impressive 13 km long with a difference in altitude of 1530 metres. On the Kappl side, for example, there is the 8 km long Lattenabfahrt, which is ideal for carving. For experienced skiers, the Adrenalin descent with a gradient of 75 % offers a special attraction. In addition, various mogul pistes and fun parks allow advanced skiers and snowboarders to get their money's worth.
The family-friendly ski area also impresses with its easy to moderately difficult and wide pistes on the Medrigalm lift. The Ascherhütten area is also home to one of the most beautiful deep and freeride areas in the Paznaun Valley. Those who prefer to make their turns on freshly groomed pistes can ski the pistes around the Alblitt, Dias and Alblittkopf lifts with an experienced guide every Monday from 8 am.

It's also worth making a detour to nearby Ischgl, as the Silvretta Arena there offers a total of 239 kilometres of pistes.

Après ski Kappl im Paznauntal

After a varied day on the piste, guests in Kappl have various options to round off the evening. The rustic "Schafstall" restaurant right on the Kappl valley run is a great place to stop for a bite to eat and enjoy the view of the mountain panorama from the sun terrace. Visitors who prefer the typical après-ski parties, on the other hand, are in the right place at the "Schupfa". And later, they can meet up in the "Tenne".

Nature lovers, on the other hand, can set off from the village centre on exciting winter hiking trails and indulge in Tyrolean delicacies in one of the local restaurants along the way. Of course, the approx. 6 km long natural toboggan run, which is floodlit every Tuesday, is far more spectacular. Another special highlight for tobogganing fans is the Zibob paradise in the Sunny Mountain Adventure Park, where the whole family can ride the 350-metre-long toboggan run and be transported back to the starting point in comfort via a covered conveyor belt. As of recently, the toboggan run in Kappl can also be ridden on fat bikes every Monday together with a guide, the descent on the bike provides a very special adrenalin kick! (detailed information on site)

Après-ski fans will find absolute paradise in Ischgl, around 10 kilometres away. Whether in the legendary "Kuhstall", the "Trofana Alm" or in "Niki's Stadl" - lively parties take place here every day, so you can party well into the night!
