Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental
You can reach the ski area from Kirchbichl with a free ski bus. The nearest entry point is Itter. The village is directly connected to the SkiWelt via the local mountain Hohe Salve. The Salvistabahn cable car takes you comfortably to the station at 1,350 metres, from where you have many options. Freeriders are catered for on the Talabfahrt-Itter and beginners can let off steam on the "Hexenwelle" adventure piste. Westendorf and Ellmau also have snow parks with many other challenging elements. The 80 refreshment stops that line the ski area also promise a real treat.
If you are travelling with the little ones or are perhaps a fairytale lover yourself, you should definitely try out the new adventure 10-person gondola in the SkiWelt Söll. There is now plenty to discover around the theme of "Hans im Glück"!
With the upgrade to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass, you even have the choice between 2,815 kilometres of slopes and 939 lifts in 22 ski regions.
Night skiing Kirchbichl
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers the special experience of night skiing in two ski areas: Söll and Brixen. SkiWelt Söll is even the largest night skiing area in Austria! 10 km of groomed pistes spread over five runs are floodlit into the night. On three days a week, from Wednesday to Saturday, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the Hexenwasser gondola lift and the Keat and Hexen6er chairlifts until 9.30 pm, and the valley run is even floodlit until 10.30 pm. In addition to the pistes, the "Hans im Glück" fun arena on the 10-seater adventure gondola is illuminated for night-time shredding fun. A night toboggan run at the Hochsöll gondola lift and several ski huts round off the evening programme. Night skiing in Söll is so popular that you even have to buy a separate lift pass for it. Those who prefer a quieter pace can end the day in the spa centre, on the ice rink with ice skating and curling or with a round of tennis.
Snowpark: Snowpark Hexenwelle Kirchbichl
The "Wilder Kaiser" ski region is guaranteed to make every freestyler's heart beat faster! Four snow parks have been built, which cater for every level of rider and entice with a wide variety of obstacles. The "Hexenwelle" adventure piste near Söll is designed for younger winter sports enthusiasts, but experienced riders can also let off steam here. It's all about coordination and fun for young and old.
Those looking for an additional freestyle feeling will find the "Kaiserpark" near Ellmau and the "Big Playground" near Westendorf, which offers further challenging elements with its new super-cross line. The "Mini Playground" in Westendorf is ideal for practising easier tricks.
