As a district capital, Kufstein is a vibrant city with countless restaurants, bars and clubs to end the day in. In the famous Römerhofgasse in the old town, you can look forward to the "Stollen 1930", a bar that was mined directly into the mountain. This did not seem to be extraordinary enough, and the owners designed the bar in the pompous style of the 1930s, and the corresponding drinks are served. The bar belongs to the hotel and restaurant "Auracher Löchl", where regional delicacies are offered. Later on, you could have a cocktail in the modern bar "Pure" and dance the night away in the "Segebar".
If you're ready to travel a little further, you find a large selection of leisure time activities in the nearby cities Innsbruck and Salzburg. In Salzburg you can see sensational ice formations in the "Eisriesenwelt". Here, in the world's largest ice cave you can find a 40 km long cave system, where visitors will be amazed by huge ice hangings and figures. The Mozart city is located approx. one hour away from Kufstein and definitely worth a visit. Vibrant Innsbruck and the famous "Goldenes Dachl" is only about an hour away.
Snowpark: Hexenwelle Kufstein
The "Wilder Kaiser" ski region is guaranteed to make every freestyler's heart beat faster! Four snow parks have been built that cater for every level of rider and entice with a wide variety of obstacles. The "Hexenwelle" adventure piste offers both beginners and advanced riders small jumps and a wave piste and combines skiing with coordination. Fun for young and old is guaranteed here.
The "Boarders Playground Westendorf", which is an absolute top tip among all experts and pros, is a little different. Challenging obstacles attract the elite to shred in the area and enable various championships to be held here. The "Kaiserpark Ellmau" at the Tanzboden lift provides a perfect mix of renowned fun park and relaxed atmosphere. In addition to a wide range of boxes, rails, pipes and the like, you can be motivated by hip music and also have the opportunity to relax in the chill-out area after a strenuous day.
