Längenfeld offers 50 km of tails of all levels of difficulties and is therefore the centre of cross-country skiing in the Ötztal, and offers a total of 143 km of wonderful trails. Be it skating style or classic cross-country skiing, the Ötztal nature has something to offer for everyone. Most routes also offer a specially prepared skating tracks and there various service stations along the way.
The high altitude tracks in Gries are also well suited for beginners and less experienced. Or maybe try the Biathlon training area in Gries with a 5 km long prepared skating track for a change. Fans of illuminated skiing will find a great, easy, 2 km long flood-lit piste in Hochgurgl. And the best comes at last: The use of all the tracks in the Ötztal is entirely free!
