Ski area Walmendingerhorn - Heuberg
The Walmendingerhorn ski area near Mittelberg in Kleinwalsertal offers leisure skiers and families a quiet and natural winter sports experience. With around 14 kilometres of piste on wide, panoramic descents, it is particularly suitable for beginners and connoisseurs. One highlight is the three-country panorama, which offers impressive views of Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the peak. The "Gipfelstuba" restaurant and the "Horabar" offer culinary delights with regional specialities and sun terraces.
In addition, the neighbouring Heuberg ski area offers ideal conditions for families, beginners and those returning to the sport. With around 20 kilometres of piste on sunny south-eastern slopes and predominantly easy, wide descents, it is particularly beginner-friendly. Beginners' lifts such as the Skikuli on the Parsenn provide a gentle introduction to skiing fun. The Walserblick restaurant at the mountain station of the Parsenn cable car provides regional specialities and sweet temptations. In addition, winter hiking trails such as the high-altitude trail from Baad to the Heuberg invite you to take leisurely walks through the snow-covered landscape.

Night skiing in the Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal ski region is a special highlight of your winter holiday. Every Wednesday evening, the Kesslerlift in Riezlern opens its floodlit piste from 7 pm to 9 pm. Located directly at the Kanzelwandbahn valley station, the 600 metre descent offers skiing fun with atmospheric lighting. Those who prefer to spend their leisure time actively will find around 50 km of cleared winter hiking trails in Kleinwalsertal. Things get faster on the valley's five toboggan runs. There is an indoor pool in Hirschegg and billiards and bowling in Mittelberg. Or do you prefer something a little more adventurous? Then why not try snow biking, skifoxing or airboarding. Wellness offers round off the programme around Mittelberg.
Snowpark Walmendingerhorn - Heuberg: Crystal Family Snowparks
Although there is no snowpark directly on the Walmendingerhorn and Heuberg, snowboarders and freeskiers feel particularly at home in Oberstdorf in Kleinwalsertal! Only tolerated in many ski areas, the "young savages" are very welcome here and are offered a lot in the "Crystal Ground" and "Crystal Peak" as well as on the "Crystal Slope". The aim of the park builders was to create a freestyle pros' paradise that meets the latest standards, unites newcomers and pros of the scene and offers the best opportunities to explore the ski area from a bird's eye view.
The Crystal Peak fun park on the Fellhorn is equipped with a simple kicker line and easy obstacles such as butter boxes. Perfect for gaining your first experience or starting out slowly! The Crystal Ground on the Kanzelwand is a popular snowpark for all skill levels thanks to its creative, monthly changing and jib-heavy set-up. Thanks to camps, event series and sessions, boredom is guaranteed to be a thing of the past here. If the snow conditions are right, the park with its floodlights is also waiting to be conquered in the evening. In the Crystal Slope on the Fellhorn, kickers, fun boxes, tunnels, waves and banked runs are literally at your feet at an altitude of 1,750 metres. Snowboarders and skiers of all skill levels are offered an unprecedented riding experience here.
