Cross-country Mölltal Glacier

At Mölltal Glacier, cross-country skiing is possible both in the valley and on the glacier. On the mountain, cross-country skiers will find a 2.5 km trail. Thanks to its high altitude of approx. 2,000 m, the trail can still be used when there is no snow left in the valley. Whenever there is enough snow, there are even more cross-country ski trails for classic and skating style in the valley - even without a lift pass: An approx. 8 km trail stretches from Flattach to lake Gössnitz. with a very easy level of difficulty. Approx. 14 km from Flattach is Mallnitz, where you can look forward to 25 km of trails leading through the National Park valleys Seebachtal and Tauerntal. In Obervellach, cross-country skiers can even wind their way through the valley for around 20 km. The Mölltal cross-country ski trail network has been awarded the cross-country ski trail seal of approval.
