Important notes

• Please note: Your accommodation Schutzhütte Wildkogelhaus is located in the middle of the ski area at 2005 m, arrival is only possible by lift (Smaragdbahn in Bramberg) and within the lift opening hours. Arrival is not possible after 16:00! On the day of arrival you can use the cable car free of charge from 15:00 to get to your accommodation, provided you have booked a lift pass for the following day. Departure with the lift is possible until 11:00 with the lift pass included. You can take your luggage up the mountain in the gondola free of charge and it will be deposited at the mountain station, marked Wildkogelhaus. Luggage is transported automatically between the lift and the hut and can only be transported outside operating hours (i.e. only from 08:30 - 09:00 and from 16:30).
• A lift pass is required for arrival and departure. If you have not booked a lift pass, a ticket for the ascent and descent must be purchased on site (see information at the lift ticket office).
• Please ask at the ticket office of the lift (Smaragdbahn in Bramberg) about the public parking spaces for guests of the Wildkogelhaus refuge.
• You can reach the accommodation from the mountain station either on foot via the toboggan run (approx. 10 min.) or directly on skis (approx. 1 min.).
• Please note that in the old building rooms with shower and WC in the hall, a maximum of 6 rooms share 2 x shower/WC.
• Bathrobes are not available.
• The Berghotel is not suitable for children under the age of 6.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire is located in Neukirchen am Großvenediger (approx. 6 km from the valley station of the Smaragdbahn in Bramberg).
• Please note that there will be no daily service in the hotel restaurant from 30/03/2025 until the end of the season.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

Reductions

Depending on the room type, age of the traveller, arrival date and lift pass, you could receive various reductions to the holiday price.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
