Location

The cosy Rübezahl Hut is situated at an altitude of approx. 1,450 metres, some 150 metres from the top station of the Markbachjochbahn cable car in Niederau, right in the heart of the “Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau” ski area. It is about 400 metres from the valley station of the gondola lift to the centre of Niederau. Alpine skiers will find slopes almost right on their doorstep. The Rübezahl Hut is only accessible via the Markbachjochbahn (for a fee, see on-site information for the lift’s opening hours).

Facilities

The accommodation features a reception, Wi-Fi (in public areas), a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant and a hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. You can park your car free of charge in the parking space at the Lanerköpfl lift (for the duration of your stay). Parking spaces at the valley station of the Markbachjochbahn are subject to a charge (see information on site).

Spa

Guests staying in the double rooms/2 extra beds, shower/WC have access to a small spa area featuring a sauna, sanarium and relaxation area.

Children

High chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Board

The half board catering plan includes a buffet style breakfast. At dinner, our cooks put together a 3-course menu of choice. On request, we also serve lactose-free dishes, gluten-free as well as vegetarian alternatives.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Please note that on arrival the ascent with the Markbachjoch gondola lift is not included in the price until 15:30 (from 15:30, however, free of charge, last ascent approx. 16:30, see information on site). Luggage is transported from the mountain station of the Markbachjoch cable car to the Rübezahl hut on arrival and departure by skidoo (approx. 150 m walk for guests). These services are only included if you have booked the trip with lift pass.
• You must bring your own towels and bed linen for the Double room, shower/WC in the hallway, Four-bed room, shower/WC in the hall and Four-bed room, shower/WC. Sheets are available in the accommodation.
