Ski holidays Oberau - skiing jewel of Tyrol!
Oberau
At the edge of the Kitzbühel Alps and in the middle of the sunny high valley of the Wildschönau lies Oberau at 936 m above sea level. The pretty and typical Tyrolean village is considered the main town of the high valley and impresses above all with its 250-year-old, baroque parish church. Oberau offers many cosy and rustic inns where you can enjoy yourself. There are four ski lifts in Oberau and at Roggenboden. A very good ski bus connection ensures a convenient start to the "Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau" ski area.Wildschönau
Nestled picturesquely in a sunny upper valley on the edge of the Kitzbühel Alps is Wildschönau, with its four idyllic Tyrolean resorts. This winter sports region, in the heart of a majestic mountain landscape, is exceptionally family-friendly. Due to the interconnection with the ski areas in the Alpach Valley, the new "Ski Juwel" (jewel) offers approx. 113 km of piste, as well as 16 km of sign-posted ski tours, and therefore now belongs to the top ten ski destinations in Tyrol. Equipped with modern snow-making systems, the ski areas in Wildschönau offer high snow security. Cosy lodges ensure that guests receive the necessary refreshment, and numerous cafés, bars and restaurants in all of the resorts invite guests in to linger.Travel Oberau
