Cross-country fans are at the right spot in Oberndorf! 170 km of prepared trails for all skill levels, 86 km of which are in skating style, are found around Oberndorf, Erpendorf, Kirchdorf and St. Johann. The Hinterkaiser trail is the longest stretch at 15 km, and is only suitable for skiers with good stamina. A high-altitude trail can be found at Kirchdorf: the 3 km long "Höhenloipe Gasteig" trail reaches altitudes of up to 830 m!
