Cross-country Obsteig

In the region around Obsteig, Mieming and Wildermieming, a total of 17 cross-country trails with a length of almost 72 kilometres await cross-country fans. In Obsteig alone, there are nine cross-country trails covering around 47.5 kilometres, some of which lead through quiet larch forests and small hamlets, others close to the villages or across wide fields - perfect for exploring the winter landscape in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a choice of both classic-style and skating-style cross-country trails of easy to medium difficulty.

The longest trail in the region is the Arzkasten trail, which is around 13 kilometres long and is particularly suitable for advanced cross-country skiers. Taster courses are offered every Sunday for beginners - participation and use of all cross-country trails is possible with the free Guest Card.

With over 80 snow days a year and excellently groomed cross-country trails, the Sonnenplateau Mieming & Tirol Mitte region bears the Tyrolean cross-country trail seal of approval - a clear sign of quality and cross-country skiing enjoyment at a high level.
