Together with Oberstdorf, the southernmost municipality in Germany, the Austrian Kleinwalsertal forms a wonderful ski region, which can be used with the "Ski Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal" lift pass. With over 130 kilometres of pistes (including ski routes) and 44 modern lift systems, the two-country ski region of Oberstdorf-Kleinwalsertal offers a varied winter sports experience for all ability levels. From family-friendly descents to challenging black pistes and designated freeride routes, there is something for everyone. The ski region is characterised by safe chair lifts, tow lifts and special offers for families, making it particularly attractive for a skiing holiday with children.

On the Nebelhorn, the highest gondola lift in the Allgäu takes you up to 2,224 metres. On a clear day, the summit station offers a magnificent panoramic view of 400 peaks between the Zugspitze and the Swiss Säntis. Afterwards, you can enjoy Germany's longest descent to the valley from the Nebelhorn to Oberstdorf. The Söllereck area is family-friendly and ideal for beginners, with mostly easy to intermediate pistes. The Walmendinger Horn offers beautiful and varied descents for all abilities. If you want to indulge in skiing a little longer in the evening, you can do so on several floodlit slopes in the ski area, some of which even have a snow or ice bar, inviting you to linger a little longer. A special attraction is the two-country Fellhorn/Kanzelwand ski area: here you can ski from the Austrian Kleinwalsertal to the German Fellhorn ski arena!
