The resort St. Jonhann im Pongau is located at 570 m altitude and is at the same time the capital of the region. The resort, situated in Salzach, is surrounded by the so called Salzburg Slate Alps in the north, the Radstädter Tauern in the south-east, and the foothills of the Ankogel group in the south-west. Due to its great infrastructure the town is known to be a great access point to the lift pass union Ski Amadé. Here, you can find an total of 760 km of piste to enjoy.

Not far away lays Salzburg (approx. 60 km) which offers a great selection of culture and shopping activities. However, also in St. Johann you have some diverse activities aside from the piste.
