Ski area 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena
From St. Ulrich am Pillersee you can easily and comfortably reach the ski area "Buchensteinwand/Pillersee" with approx. 21 km of pistes and 11 lifts. Due to is manageable size it is especially suited for families with children. The young ones can go wild in "Bobo's Kinderpark" for instance.
Visiting the surrounding ski areas is also definitely worth the effort: at the Steinplatte or the Winklmoosalm you will mainly find easy and medium difficulty pistes, whereas pros will also get their money's worth with the 3 km black run Fauregg-FIS-Abfahrt in St. Johann and the freeride areas at the Stanglalm and Kröpfalm.
With an upgrade of the lift pass to the "Super Ski Card" you can choose between 2,750 km of pistes and 926 lifts in 21 ski regions!

If you have never been to Pillerseetal before as a freestyler you should change that as soon as possible! Everybody who wants to go and check the risky heights far away from the family ski area in St. Ulrich am Pillersee should definitely not miss out on "Snowpark Steinplatte". After a longer waiting time, the pros of the seen and especially those who still want to become professionals are back again. The different areas for every level of skill are available on a length of 1500 m.
Are you just getting started? No problem, because the beginner line will be the perfect place to face the new challenge. A dancefloor, each an elephant-, wax- and flat/down butter boy as well as a mushroom jib will allow you to take your first freestyle steps and you are guaranteed to enjoy it quickly.
That sounds too boring for you? Then you are probably better off in the Medium and Advanced areas! From the 3 m wallride spine and the 6 m long picknicker, via various boxes to the massive kickers with 7 - 11 m jumps, every wish will be fulfilled and you are invited to give your moves the finishing touches.
