The Tyrolen Oberland offers a vast network of wonderful cross-country trails. From centrally located Ried and the neighbouring family-friendly region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, right up to the Kaunertal and the Reschenpass, there are approx. 150 km of well-maintained trails for classic and skating style available. Active Nordic skiers can start in Zams, continue via Ried and finish in Pfunds or Nauders, on a selection of trails with various difficulty levels. The local highlights include the Kaunertal trail and the high-altitude trail "Schwarzer See" at Nauders. The network itself has been awarded with the Tyrolean Cross-country trail Quality Seal.
