Ski area Vent

"Small but mighty" is not only the motto of the village, but also that of the Vent ski area. A total of 15 kilometres of pistes, consisting of 5 km of easy and 10 km of intermediate descent, await your visit and promise the best snow conditions thanks to their high alpine location. Here, both beginners and advanced winter sports enthusiasts will have fun in the sunshine and experience pure nature from the "Wildspitze" valley station to the "Wilder Mann" mountain station. Inconvenience caused by tailgaters and long waiting times at the lift are not part of the programme and families in particular can let off steam without a care in the world. So if you are a fan of clear but perfectly groomed pistes and don't need a lot of hustle and bustle to feel good, then this ski area is the ideal place for you.

Après ski Vent

In Vent, leisure time after skiing tends to be rather quiet, but you don't have to miss out on an active evening programme. You can indulge in culinary delights in rustic guesthouses and even celebrate a little après ski in the "Postkastl". If you fancy a little more action, the floodlit toboggan run in Vent awaits your visit.

Not to be missed are the region's famous snowshoe hikes around the Ötztal Alps, which offer a unique view of the eternal ice and will inspire even the most experienced mountaineer. A trip to the party capital of Sölden is also well worthwhile.

Snowpark Vent: AREA 47 Snowpark Sölden

There is no snowpark in the Vent ski area. However, in Sölden, approx. 17 km away on the Giggijoch, you will find the freestyle pearl of the Ötztal, the "AREA 47 Snowpark". Park designers ensure that the 6-hectare park at 2,450 metres above sea level has a freshly shaped powder sheen every day, leaving nothing to be desired. Beginners to pros can freestyle here in three different difficulty levels and put their skills to the test. Lots of kickers, tubes, rails and boxes provide plenty of variety.

Finally, the 12-metre Elephant Box and the GO PRO Special provide the extra icing on the freestyle cake, allowing riders to show off their creativity at the highest level. To switch off and relax, there is also a chill area with a sound system and deckchairs. All those who want to indulge their creative passion and enjoy meeting new people should definitely pay a visit to the "AREA 47 Snowpark Sölden".
