Ski area Les Menuires - Saint Martin

The "Les Menuires - St. Martin" ski pass gives you access to 160 kilometres of pistes and 33 lifts around St. Martin and Les Menuires. The ski area offers plenty of variety for both beginners and slightly advanced skiers and is very diverse. Some deep snow slopes are also waiting for their fans. The panorama is overwhelming, as the ski area includes several peaks close to the 3,000 metre mark, such as the Mont de la Chambre (2,850 m) or the Roc des 3 Marches (2,704 m).

At the Point de la Masse (2,804 m), there are some tricky runs such as the "Dame Blanche", but also enjoyable runs such as the valley descent to St. Martin. There is the perfect descent for every ability level here. Les Menuires is also home to the longest descent in the 3 Vallées: the 12-kilometre descent from the summit of Cime de Caron.

And ski tourers will also get their money's worth, as a number of new and exciting routes have been added in recent years. In the same period, the ski resort has also invested tens of millions in improving the performance of its own lift facilities around the groomed pistes, which has led to shorter journey times and lower energy consumption in the interests of sustainability.

If that's not enough, the "3 Vallées" ski pass upgrade gives you access to an incredible 600 kilometres of pistes with 156 lifts. On the slopes of the three picturesque valleys, which lead down to Moûtiers from the glaciated Vanoise massif with the Grande Casse (3,852 m) as the highest peak, a powder snow paradise covering a total area of 250 km² stretches out in a beautiful setting with views of Mont Blanc. And before you start: enjoy the breathtaking view of more than 1,000 peaks in the Italian, Swiss and French Alps.

But that's not all about technology: winter sports enthusiasts travelling in the ski area can also use the free "Les 3 Vallées" app. This provides detailed information about piste and lift opening times, the local weather or the best huts for a lunch break directly on your smartphone at any time. In the event of an accident on the piste, the app can even be used to alert the emergency services with just one click.

Night skiing St. Martin

Night skiing in France is a special experience. The 3 Vallées in particular, with their huge range of pistes, have everything to make winter sports enthusiasts' hearts beat faster. There is also the opportunity to ski at night here. If you spend your skiing holiday in the 3 Vallées, you can still make your turns on the slopes after sunset in the Courchevel ski area. Here, the 8-seater Verdons gondola lift extends its operating hours every Wednesday and the Familypark and the Verdons piste are illuminated by floodlights. A special highlight is that skiing in the Familypark is accompanied by music. Catering is also provided: food and drinks are available in the "Les Verdons" restaurant until after the lift closes.

Après ski St. Martin

In Les Menuires, numerous restaurants and bars invite you to après-ski, stop for a bite to eat and linger. Some of them are located at an attractive altitude with panoramic views. Overall, there is a wide range of leisure activities away from the hustle and bustle of the slopes: from dog sledding to exciting heli-skiing and snow tubing, everything is possible here! The ski resort also has two toboggan runs that provide fun for the whole family.

The range of wellness and fitness facilities is also impressive. The sports and wellness centre offers over 4,500 m² of space for a wide range of activities. Whether swimming pool, sauna, aqua aerobics, fitness, tennis, squash or volleyball: the choice is yours!

St. Martin also has plenty to offer when it comes to après-ski. Whether it's cafés with sun terraces in the old village centre, relaxed evenings with an aperitif or two in the "Au Perchoir" bar or colourful parties in the "Saloon Bar", there's something for every winter sports enthusiast. And for those who want to end the evening at the foot of one of the three large valleys in a quieter way, but also in the fresh Alpine air, there are snowshoe hikes to choose from.

Snowpark: Pixel Area St. Martin

Unfortunately, there is no snowpark in St. Martin itself. However, the "Pixel Area" snow park is located right next door in the Les Menuires ski area.

The "Pixel Area" snow park is located at an altitude of 2500 metres right next to the "La Becca" chairlift, but can also be reached via the "Sunny Express". The Pixel Area is fun for the whole family, with a range of modules for young and old.

On the boardercross course, you can get a good introduction to the combination of speed and freestyle fun with small woops, bumps and sharp turns. For freestylers, parcours and skicross fans, there is also the Pixel Area with rails, kicks and moguls. Here you can show everyone your best tricks. If you need a break, you can relax on the new panoramic terrace and watch the other riders perform.

For the somewhat calmer riders, there is the "Friendly Natural Park", which can be reached from the "Masse 1" gondola. Here, young and old can play together and explore the wildlife of the Vanoise National Park. There is parallel slalom, ski games and a picnic area for the whole family.

For those looking for more adventures, Les 3 Vallées with its various snow parks is the place to be. There are plenty of alternatives and great opportunities to let off steam!
