20 km Cross-country trails (in km):
Val d'Isère and neighbouring Tignes boast 28 km of cross country ski trails. Val d'Isère itself offers 20 km of trails. Both include trails for dogs, and also offer trails for skate skiing. Val d'Isère also has a high-altitude track, the Lac de l'Ouillette, at 2,560 m. For accessing the approx. 7 km long round track a lift ticket is necessary, an investment worth to be made – even for the less experienced skiers! More challenging however is the 11 km long "Manchet" (1,850 m).
