Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To ensure safety on the ski slopes in Italy, stricter safety regulations have been in force since 2022. In order to use the ski areas, everyone must have liability insurance that covers damage to third parties. It will also be possible to take out this insurance on site for individual days. Drunken skiing is prohibited and punishable by heavy fines, with a maximum of 0.5 mg of alcohol per litre of blood. To reduce the risk of injury, helmets are also compulsory for all minors when skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.Night skiing Cesana Torinese

However, the Italians can also prove themselves otherwise, with après ski in discotheques and bars. Also not to be missed is the "El Rouet" in Cesana, where over 1,000 different types of beer from all over the world are available.
The surrounding villages of Cesana Torinese offer all kinds of activities to enjoy an active winter holiday away from the pistes. These include ice skating, curling, snowshoeing and dog sledding. If you want to combine a skiing holiday with a little culture and a small city break, a trip to Turin is worthwhile. After only 1.5 hours by car, you reach this often underestimated historical city. At a height of 85 m, you not only have a fabulous view of the enchanting city, but also of the snow-covered Alps. The city and its region also have a special feature for gourmets: the white truffle (tartufo bianco).

Freestyle fans are also catered for in the Via Lattea ski region. There are several snowparks, funparks and boardercross tracks in the different ski areas. The largest are in Sestiere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario and Montgenèvre.
