All around Cortina d'Ampezzo are a total of 70 km of cross-country tracks, the majority of which is also suitable for beginners. Cross-country lessons can be booked in resort.
If you've got enough endurance, try out the longest track, the round trip from Cortina to Dobbiaco and back. This is 30 km long and runs on a leisurely track from 1,224 m up to 1,530 m. Lovely high-altitude tracks can be found at Fiames Nordic Center and at Passo Tre Croci that offer a wonderful view a wirh a rather demanding level of difficulty.
