The municipality is similar to Corvara, Wengen or Enneberg, being characterised by the Ladin language and culture. Visitors can learn more about the centuries-old culture when visiting the Ladin Ciastel Museum, located on a hill in the upper half of the resort in the Thurn Palace. At the foot of the Plan de Corones (2,275 m), in the centre of the picturesque Val Pusteria, are 14 diverse and attractive South Tyrolean villages.
