Ski area Aletsch Arena
The Aletsch Arena is an extremely diverse ski area, with a total of 104 km of best-prepared pistes that stretch out along the massive Aletsch glacier, providing a difference in altitude between 1,845 - 2,869 m. The largest ice stream in the Alps, with a length of 23 km, is absolutely marvellous to view from the three ski mountains Rideralp, Bettmeralp and Fiesch-Eggishorn. Unique and truly individual panoramic viewing points can be integrated into your best photos when visiting the three peaks Moosfluh (2,333 m), Bettmerhorn (2,872 m) and Eggishorn (2,926 m). The new Glacier Panorama Tour leads over 35 km through the ski area and rounds off the panoramic marathon. Tip: When travelling along the panoramic hiking trail from the mountain station of Moosfluh over to the mountain station of Riederfurka, you can enjoy the panoramic glacier view without wearing skis.
The gondola station for the Fiescheralp lies directly in Fiesch. Up on the mountain, the middle station can be reached at an altitude of 2,212 m and the second part of the ride takes you up to the Eggishorn at an altitude of 2,926 m. From here, a great black piste, among others, run down to the Fischeralp. Besides that, many blue and a few red pistes are to be found on the Fiescheralp. Overall, the Altesch Arena offers about just as many easy runs as intermediate runs, so children and beginners certainly won't be left out. On the Bettmeralp, ski school children in the "Kindersonnenland und Snowgarden" as well as the "Prinzenland" at Lake Bettmer can run riot. At the Kühboden on the Fiescheralp as well as on the Riederalp, even more children's parks can be found with large play and practice areas. With the new tour for families "Gletschi-Tour" and a new Family-Funslope between Blausee and the Trainerlift, nothing stands in the way of having tons of fun. The ski area boasts the "Families Welcome" seal of excellence, of which confirms the family-friendly atmosphere and infrastructure as well as the children-based services such as childcare services and entertainment programmes, among others!
After an eventful day of skiing on the runs, the snowpark, the half pipe and panoramic restaurant, there are two ways to head back to Fiesch: the valley descent takes you down a ski route. Should you rather prefer a more comfortable way down, you can also take the gondola. However, those who prefer to keep their skis on can carry on into the night on two night pistes. At the foot of the Alpenrose and on the Riederalp as well as at the Blausee lift of the Bettmeralp, you can ski once a week until 21:00 on well-illuminated pistes.

Night skiing Fiesch
Switzerland has numerous ski areas that offer the possibility to go night skiing after the regular lifts' operation times, for example in Aletsch-Arena nearby Fiesch. When the day comes to an end, three lifts in Aletsch-Arena extend their opening hours for night owls. Most skiing fun can be had on Bettmeralp. The Blausee chairlift extends its opening hours up to the middle station every Tuesday from 16:30 to 21:00. Night skiing enthusiasts can look forward to 1 km of piste here. Apart from that, the practise lift Alpenrose-Riederalp is open for night skiing every Tuesday from 19:00 to 12:00. The approx. 500 m illuminated piste can be accessed by two lifts. In good snow conditions, night skiers will also get their money's worth in the valley - the practise lift in Fiescher valles offers illuminated pistes every Thursday from 18:00 - 20:00. A holiday in the Aletsch region simply means pure relaxation in the face of the legendary, panoramic Valais mountain range. One doesn't need more than a glass of wine in a cosy atmosphere in order to process the gorgeous natural surroundings. Nevertheless, a few après ski bars await the more active holiday-goers. A few metres away from the valley station of the Fiesch-Eggishorn lift, you'll find the "Talstation" bar and lounge, the ideal meeting point after just hopping off the lift. The "Inch" club provides party-goers the chance to dance the night away. Besides these two hotspots, the night rounds off rather cosily in the various little pubs and restaurants in the area. Those who prefer the second half of their day to remain active can take on a guided ski tour through the Aletsch region and experience the intensity of the glaciated mountain range. Several marked snowshoe hiking trails run throughout the Fieschertal, including a 3 km long route between Bettmeralp and Riederalp, allowing you to discover the enchanting winter wonderland at your own pace. Have you ever wanted to view the Aletsch glacier from a bird's eye view? Numerous flight schools offer tandem flights with paragliders!
Tobogganing makes for great fun here in the Aletsch region. At the Fiescheralp, you can expect to find a real highlight: a 14 km long toboggan run that runs down into Lax, the neighbouring village of Fiesch. Once at the bottom, a sport bus takes tobogganers back to Fiesch in just a few minutes. A further tobogganing feature can be found at the Moosfluh gondola: from here, take the lift up and head back down the blue piste on the Airboard. An ideal run for little tobogganers is the "Schlittelpiste Blätz," a part of the children-and-family park in the Fieschertal. In February, night tobogganing (until 8:00 p.m.) is possible once a week. Should the weather not be as pleasing as hoped, there are plenty of alternatives to skiing available to enjoy in the sporting holiday resort of Fiesch, such as swimming, tennis, squash, indoor climbing, fitness, skittles, trips to the sauna or sunbathing in the solarium.

Snowpark: TFI Snowpark, Funpark Eggishorn, Funpark Konkordia Fiesch
The hotspot for freestylers in the Aletsch Arena can be found on the slopes of the Bettmerhorn mountain, between the red "Kanzel" piste and the blue "Salzgäb" piste. It's here where you'll find a rail line and several kicker lines on jibbers and shredders. A real treat can be found a little ways down the slope: a massive half pipe for those high-reaching jumps. A speciality of the park crew: the obstacles are shaped with a special device called the "PipeMagician," so that even 360° turns and sharp banking can be pulled off smoothly. Alternatively, the real beginners among us can first try their skills in the Family Park on the smaller wupps, banks and mini kickers.
Besides the TFI Snowpark, the Aletsch Arena offers two further parks on the Fiesch-Eggishorn: the Funpark Eggishorn and the Funpark Konkordia. Both freestyler areas run along both sides of the Konkordia piste and are able to be reached with the "Flesch" 4-person chair lift or the "Talegga" 6-person chair lift. The Konkordia area is designed with smaller moguls and curvy slopes for prospective freestylers and offers beginners a nice playing field. In comparison, the Funpark Eggishorn offers real rails and jumps to take on.
