Especially for beginners of the Nordic discipline, the relatively manageable network of cross-country trails is ideally suited. A number of popular trails worth seeing are ideal for getting to know and loving cross-country skiing, such as the 6 km long high-altitude trail in Saas-Fee or the 26 km long, partly very narrow Saas Valley trail, which leads from Balen via Almagell to Eyenalp. You can also explore the cross-country ski trail on several days without any problems, there are numerous bus stops along the route. Thus, you will find 32 km of cross-country trails in the Saas Valley, which vary between classic and skating. To use the cross-country trails, you need to purchase a day ticket for CHF 6 or a week ticket for CHF 20 (prices with guest card).
