In addition, a new peak-to-peak ski area connection from the Hochzillertal-Hochfügen ski area to the Spieljoch is being planned.

From there you can choose from various diverse descents, such as the black "Abfahrt Nr. 36" in Krummbachtal. Deep powder snow and freerider enthusiasts can explore a number of different areas (e.g. at the Vorkogel).
The highlight in the Zillertal is an excursion to the Hintertux Glacier which is known to be one of the most challenging in the entire Alps due to its size and tricky pistes.
