Are you an enthusiastic biathlon fan? Then Bad Hofgastein has just the right offer for you. At the Kurparkloipe (trail) you have the opportunity to try out the sport yourself. Equipped with a laser rifle the exciting competition begins. In addition, the entire village has about 20 kilometres of cross-country ski trails with easy to medium difficulty.
In the region of the Gastein valley there is a network of 36 km of prepared track, which are especially suited for first-timers. Experienced cross-country skiers will also find a challenging circuit. Experience landscape highlights on the pristine Angertal trail. Beautiful views and high snow security are promised by the approx. 6 km long high-altitude track at Sportgastein (1,600 - 1,650 m), where you will also find a cross-country centre.
The 5.5 km long floodlit trail at Bad Gastein (for a fee) provides an evening ski opportunity, as well as the night trail in the "Kurpark" at Bad Hofgastein. Equipment hire, cross-country schools and numerous extra prepared skating trails round off the selection in Gastein valley.
