Ski area Bödele-Schwarzenberg
There are also rustic huts and guesthouses right next to the pistes, where traditional Austrian cuisine is usually served after a cosy stop-off. Another plus point of Bödele-Schwarzenberg is that the ski area is just 10 km or 12 minutes by car from Dornbirn, making it ideal for day trippers.
The "3 Valleys Pass" also allows you to enjoy carefree ski area hopping. The lift pass is valid in 31 ski areas in Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Allgäu with a total of around 360 kilometres of piste (including ski routes).
Night skiing Bödele-Schwarzenberg
From Dornbirn, there are several ways to set off for night skiing with the "3 Täler Pass". Firstly, ski pass holders can travel to the large Damüls-Mellau ski area (43 km away), where the Guggernüllilift operates on Thursdays from 6 to 9 pm and the adjacent piste is floodlit. And in the Diedamskopf ski area (36 km) in Schoppernau, the Grunholz lift is open for night skiing every Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 10 pm. These two offers are included in the "3 Valleys Pass".
Après ski Bödele-Schwarzenberg
The town also has plenty to offer culture and film fans. Alternative films flicker across the screen at the "Cinema Dornbirn", while the latest cinema blockbusters are always showing at the "Cineplexx Hohenems" (8 km away). And at the "Spielboden" theatre, the stage programme is peppered with traditional plays and modern performances. There are also numerous outdoor activities to try out in Dornbirn in winter, from winter hikes or guided tours through snow-covered landscapes to ice skating.
Snowpark Bödele-Schwarzenberg: Snowman parcour course
In honour of the Bödele ski area's mascot, the snowman, a small but beautiful snowpark has been created between the Lanklift and Schanzenblicklift. Young and old can test their acrobatic skills on skis on the 150-metre-long parcour course. The course starts at the large toucan pillar, past turning figures for high-fives, ski boxing or high-fives, before heading over one or two kickers to the finish line.
