Ski area Ehrwalder Alm & Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen

The Ehrwald Alm ski area has 7 lifts and a total of approx. 27.5 km of piste available. With the “Top Snow Card” you have access to a further 10 ski areas with a total of 214 km of piste and 87 lifts, including Garmisch-Partenkirchen on the German side and Lermoos, Berwang and Mittenwald in Austria (see ski region).

With its highly situated sun terraces, excellent prepared pistes and guaranteed snow, Ehrwald meets all winter-sports fans’ requirements! For this reason the Ehrwald Alm ski area once again received the Tyrolean Slope Quality Label.

Ehrwald can also impress with its lift system: apart from the 8-person gondola which easily takes you up to Ehrwalder Alm, the ski area has 3 highly modern 6-person chairlifts with weather covers and seat heating.

The neighbouring ski area, the Ehrwalder Wettersteinbahnen, which lies at the foot of the Zugspitze, also has plenty to offer like the Ehrwald Alm. The Wetterstein mountains offer 23 km of fun on the piste in all levels of difficulty, also offering 2 chair lifts and tow lifts. The ski area is also special to children thanks to its practice slope and "Kinderland", which is ideal for learning.

Night skiing Ehrwald

From Ehwald, the next night ski area is not too far away, as you can go night skiing in the neighbouring resort Lermoos in approx. 4 km. The small but nice night ski area is located at the edge of the resort and is the centre of evening skiing fun in the ski area. The 8-person gondola Family Jet takes you to a 0.5 km piste that is illuminated by floodlight. Once per week the lift's operation hours are extended until the evening, so that night skiing on the blue piste is possible until 21:00. Another highlight of night skiing is the possibility to go skiing with torches. Together with ski instructors, romantics and night skiing enthusiasts can ski in the dark carrying a torch or glowstick. Another night ski piste for skiing in the evening awaits in Tiroler Zugspitz Arena in Berwanger valley.

Après ski Ehrwald

Après-ski in Ehrwald is rather quiet and usually found in one of the quaint, welcoming huts. A popular spot is the Schirmbar, which is located directly in the centre of Ehrwald and provides cheery fun. But immediately in the Valley Station you can also happily round off a days’ skiing in, for example, the Ganghoferhütte, where live music is played on certain days.

Ehrwald has many further offers for you to take advantage of after a day on the slopes. For instance, a relaxing trip to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena family pool, an exciting toboggan evening with the whole family or an extensive snowshoe hike – the choice is yours!

Snowpark: Betterpark Snowpark, Snowpark by MINI Ehrwald

The professionally designed "Bretterpark" is located centrally in the ski area, just along the Klämmli piste, and is subject to daily reshaping. The Klämmli lift, which extends along the entire length of the park, ensures quick access, run after run. Various jumps (6 - 12 m), rails, boxes and much more, divided over 3 lines (small, medium and large), offer both beginners and pros great practise options.

The newly-designed "Snowpark by MINI" entices with the motto "come out and play" and offers a great playground for beginners and pros. Obstacles, steep curves, rails, kickers and many other elements are only waiting to be explored by snowboarders and skiers.
