Gorgeous mountains, traditional villages and a snow-white, enchanting sea of peaks make up the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. Framed by the Mieminger and Wetterstein mountain chains is the Ehrenwalder basin, where the seven Zugspitz Arena resorts are to be found. Whether skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, ice skating or hiking, pretty much everything is possible in and around the Zugspitz Arena resorts. In addition to sporting activities, the resorts entice visitors on a shopping stroll or in for a snack in a cosy inn. There is snow security through until spring on the Zugspitzplatt in the Zugspitz glacier area. In addition to the Zugspitz, a further 6 ski areas are available.
