In Gerlos you have 14 km of cross-country trails available, including 4 km of skating tracks. Zell am Ziller offers a further 14 km that all together has an easy difficulty level and therefore also is suitable for the beginners in the cross-country run.
One of the nicest and most famous tracks in Gerlos is the 6 km long Schönachtal Stinkmoosalm track, on which you can almost run to the Jausen station and that belongs to the longest tracks in the ski area, next to the 7 km long Bräufeld track in Zell.
Professional cross-country runners can take the track (1, 655 m) on the Gerlos platter by Krimml that also offers the connection to the Pinzgau track network, in which cross-country runners can let off steam at an altitude of approx. 200 km.
