50 km Cross-country trails (in km):
There is an extensive network of trails for all cross-country skiing fans in the Dachstein West region - approx. 223 kilometres of trails leave nothing to be desired. Most of them are located around Abtenau (approx. 60 km). Here you will find mainly easy trails such as the floodlit trail on the Karkogel and the high altitude cross-country ski trail on the Postalm, where snow is guaranteed. 22 km of skating trails and a free basic cross-country skiing course round off the offer.
No less extensive is the network of trails around the ski area, which has over 50 km of trails. These are divided into 5 km of difficult, 25 km of medium-difficulty and 20 km of easy cross-country trails. At approx. 11 kilometres, the "village trail" in Gosau is one of the longest in the region and offers plenty of variety for beginners and advanced skiers alike.
