Cross-country in the Großarttal equals sporting pleasure away from the hustle and bustle. The Großarl trail, the Saukaralmer high altitude trail and the Hüttschlag trail leading up to the valley head count a total of around 35 km of well-maintained tracks that lead through the picturesque valley. The tracks are made for classical cross-country, but parallel to them you can also find skating tracks on many stretches. Floodlit trails, practice meadows, hire shops, cross-country schools and several huts providing a bite to eat and a cold or warm drink can be found on the sides along the trails.
