Ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental
The 3.5 km long valley descent to Itter awaits well-trained skiers on the Hohe Salve and experts will also get their money's worth on the "Black Eagle" summit descent at the Hohe Salve gondola lift. Freestylers can let off steam in the Söll Snowpark. Westendorf and Ellmau also have snow parks with many challenging elements. The 80 refreshment stops that line the ski area also promise a real treat.
A special attraction in terms of lift comfort is can be found in Hopfgarten: the 6-person chair lift Schernthannbahn offers heated seating, comfortable cushioning, a light blue coloured weather protection guard and automated clamp closure as well as an automated boarding aid. The latter is a lift table which recognises when children want to board. This lift proves that lifts can always get that bit more comfortable and safe.
If you are going on holiday together with your children, or if in fact you yourself have a thing for fairytales, you should definitely check out the new 10-person "discovery"-gondola in SkiWelt Söll. Interesting experiences built around the theme "Hans in Luck" await you!
By upgrading to the "Super Ski Card" lift pass (see Ski Region), you get access to over 2,815 km of pistes and 939 lifts in 22 ski regions in Tyrole and Salzburg.
Night skiing Hopfgarten
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental offers the special experience of night skiing in the two ski areas of Söll and Brixen. The absolute highlight is SkiWelt Söll, as it is the largest night skiing area in Austria! 10 kilometres of groomed pistes spread over five runs are floodlit into the night. Three times a week, from Wednesdays to Saturdays, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the Hexenwasser gondola lift and the Keat and Hexen6er chairlifts until 21:45, while the valley run is even floodlit until 22:30. In addition to the pistes, the "Hans im Glück" fun arena on the 10-seater adventure gondola is floodlit for night-time shredding fun. A night toboggan run at the Hochsöll gondola lift and several ski huts round off the evening offer. Night skiing in Söll also has its price: a separate lift pass must be purchased for this special offer. Another alternative to night skiing is at the Schusterbühel lift near Brixen. There is a 300 metre-long blue night ski slope here, which is illuminated continuously until 19:00 at certain times.Après ski Hopfgarten
Entertainment and cuisine are catered for by the many bars, restaurants and lodges. Those who would prefer to get their groove on with some loud music, will definitely enjoy the bars "Ambiente", "Rundell Après Ski Bar" and "Six Pence"!
