Ski area Patscherkofel

Innsbruck's Olympic mountain "Patscherkofel" has not only given true winter sports greats a promising career, but really offers every successful prerequisite from beginner to expert. Six lifts take you up to an altitude of 1,965 m, from where 19 kilometres of pistes lead you down to 1,009 m on easy, medium and difficult slopes, making the descent a real experience. Since the winter season 17/18, a new 10-person monocable gondola and a new illuminated toboggan run also await you.

The ski area is particularly suitable for families because while the "Sunny Kids Park" with its three different practice areas playfully introduces your little ones to the world of winter sports, you yourself have the opportunity to try your hand at more challenging runs, such as the Olympic slope. The sun-drenched terrain with a view over Innsbruck along with the Stubai and Inn valleys leave nothing to be desired.

For all adrenaline junkies, the "Snowpark Innsbruck" has been built on the Patscher sun plateau while various sun terraces with sunbathing facilities invite you to recharge your batteries in between sessions.

Night skiing Innsbruck

Skiing down the pistes in the dark with the lights on - a very special kind of fun in the snow! The Patscherkofel illuminates a section of the Heiligwasser pistes (about 1 km long) for night owls several times a week from 17:00 to 21:00. The Olex Restaurant is also open for you at these times. If you have never tried night skiing before, pay this ski area a visit in the evening. It's a great experience and will leave you wanting more.

Après ski Innsbruck

Innsbruck has a very diverse après ski and recreational programme on offer. Be it party or culture, here everyone will find the right thing. Huts and restaurants invite you in to stop off whilst skiing, and numerous bars, discos and clubs turn the night to day. Boarders meet in "Jimmy's", and "Plan B", and the disco" Plateau" or the trendy bar "Jolly" are also favourite spots. Those who prefer it more upscale can enjoy this city’s amenities, such as concerts, galleries and stage shows.

The Maria-Theresien Street with its boutiques, shops and coffee houses is best for shopping. Sporting establishments such as a bowling alley, indoor pools, natural and artificial ice skating rinks, a climbing wall or even a tobogganing run are available. A visit to the crystal world in Wattens or a city tour, with its many-faceted cultural sights such as the Ambras Castle, the Hofburg, the Bergisel jump or the famous golden roof, are definitely worth a day-trip!

Snowpark: Snowpark Innsbruck Innsbruck

Do you consider yourself to be an adrenaline junkie or simply love taking risks? Then the "Snowpark Innsbruck" is the right place for you! Unlike most areas in Austria, you don't just have a separate area off the piste to "shred", but the piste itself. At an altitude of 2,000 m, directly at the Panorama chairlift, the freestyle paradise begins, which is shaped from the first snowfall and continuously changed with each additional snowfall. Boredom is certainly not an issue here!

The setup is designed in such a way that there are no different areas, but one long run of different obstacles where you can let your creativity run free.

If you want to recharge your batteries or watch the spectacle from the outside, the "XDouble Chill Hut" at the top of the park is the place to go. During special events, there is even a BBQ here and popular music is played. You really don't want to miss out on this!
