Ski holidays Nassfeld-Hermagor - the snow must go on!
Nassfeld-Hermagor
The two closely neighbouring resorts Nassfeld (1,530 m) and Hermagor (602 m) lay directly on the border to Italy. Thanks to the beautiful southward orientation the resorts profit from a lot of sunshine. In the ski arena, you will find winter sports on two levels: cross-country skiers can enjoy themselves at approx. 700 m altitude, whilst Alpine skiers will find a wonderful piste area around 2,000 m altitude. The ski area Nassfeld-Pressegger Lake provides excellent conditions: 110 km of diverse pistes and 30 lift systems surely provide great terrain access for everyone! Cross-country skiers can find a great network of approx. 230 km of trails throughout the whole of Carinthia. Due to the great location of the resort at the Pressegger Lake there are numerous additional activities to be found here, such as ice skating and ice hockey, for instance.Gailtal
The Gail's source can be found in Eastern Tyrol. After approx. 120 km it flows into the Drau. In the same way the Gailtal extends from Tilliach in Eastern Tyrol to Villach in Carinthia. The fascinating landscape is dominated by contrast of wide, flat valleys and rough mountain sides. The valley is outlined by the mountain ranges of the Lienz Dolomites, the Gailtal Alps, the Karnish Alps and the Karanwanks. In the lower Gailtal one of the top 10 ski areas in Austria can be found, the Nassfeld-Hermagor.Travel Nassfeld-Hermagor
