Ski area Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn
From Saalbach it is possible to enter the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbunn directly. This has numerous beautiful carving runs, mogul slopes, steep slopes, a race course with time measurement and two floodlit slopes. Numerous snow-making facilities also ensure a very high level of snow reliability. If you want to discover the blue pleasure runs around Saalbach, including the World Cup slope on Kohlmais, we recommend the Saalbach Round. It leads over 19 km on both slopes of the Glemmtal valley around the village.
In general, beginners will find what they are looking for here: A whole 140 km of blue and green pistes offer ideal entry points for a beginner's skiing holiday. Families with children also get their money's worth. Leo's Kinderland", for example, is located directly at the valley station of the Asitz cable car. The practice area with magic carpet, children's carousel, snow igloo and a knight's castle is ideal for children who want to make their first turns in the snow.
Professionals, meanwhile, can put their alpine experience to the test on the "Zwölferkogel Nord" and "Schattberg Nord" runs. Wonderful freeride opportunities can be found, for example, on the Zwölferkogel West and Schattberg West, but these should be reserved for real cracks. Freeriders feel right at home on the funcross trails and along the deep black, challenging northern slopes. And freestylers will also find a true paradise in the Skicircus: They can let off steam here in three snow parks and on a boardercross course.
This diversity is once again proof why Saalbach is not one of the most popular ski resorts in the Alps for nothing, and why it is always evolving despite this status.
Night skiing Saalbach
In the evening, after the end of the usual operating hours, some ski resorts in Austria also invite you to night skiing. The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, for example, also has some pistes for skiing after dark. In Hinterglemm, winter sports enthusiasts can set out for night skiing several times a week. The Unterschwarzach cable car then takes you to the start of the approximately 1.1 km long night ski run. The night park there attracts night owls who want to dare a few jumps even after dark. Another possibility for night skiing is in Leogang at the Schanteilift. The platter lift is in operation for skiing fun at night and takes winter sports enthusiasts to the entrance to a 500 m long floodlit slope. If you have a valid ski pass, night skiing is free of charge.Après ski Saalbach
For those who prefer something more cosy, there are numerous restaurants and cafés to choose from. Why not ask your host where you can eat original Pinzgau dishes? Or take a relaxed stroll through the village.
There is also no shortage of sporting alternatives: whether ice skating, fun tobogganing, fast-paced snow tubing rides, romantic excursions on horse-drawn sleighs or indoor tennis, you are guaranteed to find something to do here. And those who like something a little more unusual will of course also find what they are looking for in Saalbach-Hinterglemm: Whether it's adventures in the Glemmy Offroad Park with snow quads or snow tubing on the Unterschwarzachbahn - there are plenty of opportunities to experience the rush of speed off the slopes as well.
Snowpark: Family Park Saalbach
In the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, four fun parks await you, promising plenty of variety and adrenalin rushes!
In Hinterglemm you will find the "Family Park" at the Unterschwarzachbahn, close to the centre of Hinterglemm. True to the motto "Freestyle Unlimited!", you can hone your skills here day and night. Easy, Medium and Pro Line enable riders of all levels to perfect their tricks. You can let off steam on obstacles like the gap kicker, a spine, the wallride, rails like the 9 m long C-rail or boxes like the 22 m long combi-box.
In addition, there is also the Learn-to-Ride Park in Saalbach on the Bernkogel with three mini kickers and three beginner boxes, which is great for beginners and their first tricks..
In Leogang, the "Nitro Snowpark Leogang" is located directly at the Asitz. With corners, big airs as well as different rails and boxes, the Nitro Park leaves nothing to be desired and offers optimal training possibilities for all freestylers. A table with three different jumps provides additional fun. In the jib zone, beginners in particular can take their first steps on easy boxes. As a special highlight, there is free Wi-Fi access in the Adlerhorst chill-out area, so you can share your new styles directly with friends and fans.
In Fieberbrunn, prospective freestylers will find the "Easy Park" at the Streuböden middle station, which is suitable for everyone. Five kickers, two wave tracks and four boxes are available here.
In addition to the snow parks, there are two other freestyle areas: a ski and boardercross as well as a funcross track. This is a mixture of normal piste and snowpark, which you will find at the Hochalm chairlift in Hinterglemm. Longitudinal and cross waves, steep turns, small kickers, quarter-pipes and other fun elements provide lots of fun. In the end, the Skicircus turns out to be a freestyle circus.
