714 km of cross-country trails run through the valley in front of the fantastic mountain backdrop of the Dachstein massif. Fans of Nordic skiing will be delighted by the wonderful trails for both classic Nordic skiing and the lively skating style. 220 km of trails alone spread out around Ramsau am Dachstein, a further 40 km can be found nearby Schladming and Rohrmoos, and even small resorts such as Gröbming and Pichl offer up to 15 km of trails.
