Ski area Isola 2000
Beginners will find best practice on the corresponding areas directly above the resort, or at the chair lift Les Marmottes. Experienced skiers will rather want to venture out to the Mercière pass or to the terrain below the Cime de Sistron, Cime de Merlier or Cime de Méné peaks. Twice per week during the main season skiing is possible until later in the evening. The blue Chapelle piste is then open until 22:00, and illuminated by flood lights.
Deep powder snow fans will find perfect terrain to explore, e.g. at the Col de Mercière, at the Cime de Méné or at Mont St. Sauveur. Freestylers however will find suitable playground in the snow park in Isola 2000, Tony's Snowland.
Night skiing Isola 2000
Skiing by night is also possible in the family-friendly ski area of Isola 200. The small and nice night ski area is located above the ski station Isola 2000 in the middle of the ski area, nearby the Family Park and cross-country ski trail. The blue piste "Chapelle" is illuminated by floodlight on a length of approx. 1.5 km, and the piste can be accessed by the "Belvedere" tow lift which is usually available to use until 22:00. Both the lift as well as the piste are perfectly suited for beginners and children, so that the whole family can enjoy skiing fun until late in the evening. Night skiing takes place during the Christmas- and winter holidays.Après ski Isola 2000
If you would like to remain sporty aside from the pistes you can book a guided snowshoe hike to explore the wintry landscape around the resort. A small hill for sledging is also available. Or you can get your adrenaline going on a snowmobile tour or with some driving practice on ice. A further highlight is the local ice rink. Finally you can seek relaxation on the "AQUAVallée" in nearby Isola. There you will find a pool complex with children's pool and slides, two saunas, a steam bath and a jacuzzi.
Snowpark: Snowpark Tony's Snowland Isola 2000
Tony's Snowland attracts freestylers with its great variety of obstacles. Beginners can try their first tricks in the Easy Park, while pros have the possibility to use the slope style area or Tony's Biopark. Hidden in the forest you will find a special zone with obstacles which are purely made of wood. Nature-friendly freestyle fun! Additionally, the ski area Isola 2000 offers a boardercross run.
Those who would like to practice their jumps without being afraid of an ungentle landing, can use the air bag, which will ensure a safe landing even after a reckless jump.
