Ski holidays Valfréjus - top quality for a smashing price!
Valfréjus
Valfréjus is located at about 1,550 m in the Savoy Alps near the Italian border. Away from mass tourism, the friendly little town with its very special charm presents itself as a manageable and compact holiday destination. The centre of the village is arranged in a horseshoe shape around the run of the valley slope, so that guests can ski right up to the sun terraces of the cosy bars and cafés. In addition, several restaurants are waiting to treat visitors to French, Italian and typical Savoyard specialities. Directly in Valfréjus there is a multi-purpose pitch that can be used for ice skating, ice hockey, football and basketball, depending on the season. A special fun for all holidaymakers is the amusing toboggan run, which also offers a nearly 2 km long descent through a beautiful forest under floodlight. And those who want even more thrills could try their hand at paragliding.Valfréjus - La Norma - Aussois
In French western Alps lies the picturesque Maurienne valley, surrounded by the majestic 3,000-metre peaks of the Vanoise massif. Here is the source of the river Arc, that softly winds through the Haute Maurienne and it's side valleys. The valley is relatively easily reached via the large and also beautiful mountain passes Col de l'Iseran and Col du Mont Cenis. The regions offers first-class skiing in some of the best-known ski areas world-wide, also extensive hiking trails and wonderful relaxation in the natural surroundings. It is not for no reason that the Vanoise was declared a national park in 1963 to protect it's diverse flora and fauna.
